WASHINGTON, D.C. -- U.S. Department of Agriculture Inspector General John Walk will testify before the Subcommittee on Delivering on Government Efficiency on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 10 a.m. EDT at a hearing titled “Combating Waste, Fraud, and Abuse in SNAP.”
Walk will address USDA OIG’s commitment to aggressively combat skimming, trafficking, and organized crime in the SNAP program. He will discuss collaboration with federal, state, and local law enforcement officials to safeguard and protect SNAP benefits.
The hearing will convene in room 2154 of the Rayburn House Office Building and will be streamed live on YouTube.
