April is National Autism Acceptance Month. What started in 1972 by the Autism Society as the National Autistic Children’s Week transformed over the decades into a month-long celebration of acceptance, awareness, and kindness. This year, the Autism Society of America continues its mission by emphasizing the importance of creating connections and empowering everyone in the Autism community to live fully.
